Boatyard Distillery

Boatyard Distillery, founded in 2016 in County Fermanagh, is Northern Ireland’s first legal distillery in over 130 years. They produce a range of premium spirits, including Boatyard Double Gin, Boatyard Vodka, and Boatyard Old Tom Gin, using organic and locally sourced ingredients. The distillery is committed to sustainability and became the first B Corp-certified distillery in Ireland in 2023.

Boatyard Distillery implements several eco-friendly practices, such as eliminating single-use glass bottles in their visitor centre, offering a bottle refill programme, and introducing 2.4L recyclable eco pouches that reduce packaging by 84%. They also repurpose spent botanicals into products like chocolate and compost, and their liquid waste is converted into energy through a biofuel plant. The distillery’s commitment to sustainability has been recognised with awards like the ‘Sustainable Spirits Product of the Year’ at the 2024 Global Drinks Intel ESG Awards.
